Copies of Medici lion sculptures will appear in the secret garden of the deluxe club house of the Cosmo 4/22 class from the Hals-Development Group. Two marble lions will be made by Ivan Savenkov, a member of the Moscow Union of Artists and the Association of Moscow Sculptors, a participant in numerous Russian and foreign exhibitions and projects.
Lion sculptures repeating those that were placed on Villa Medici in Rome for Duke Ferdinand I Medici, will decorate the intimate patio “Cosmo 4/22”. In the 16th and 17th centuries, lions decorated the staircase of the Villa Medici leading to the garden, and were later placed in the Loggia Lanzi in Piazza della Signoria in Florence.
