The live premiere of the refreshed SUV of the Chinese brand will probably take place as part of the Beijing Motor Show. The prices of the new product will be known later.
The Haval brand has been producing the H6 SUV since 2011, the first generation change took place in 2017, the second in 2020. It is worth noting that the “third” crossover has two separate versions that differ in design from the standard one: one with a hybrid “filling”, the second with a coupe-shaped body. The “six” family also includes a second-generation model, which is still in service.

Now the current “third” SUV has received its share of changes, although the story with it is a little confusing. Let us remember that in the summer of 2023, the Chinese brand published photographs of a restyled version of the current Haval H6: it was expected that an SUV with exactly this appearance would debut before the end of the year. However, that updated version ultimately did not join the list of premieres.
A few days ago, the company officially announced the new Haval H6, and as the next generation. That announcement was accompanied by a series of teasers of a car with a new and different exterior (not the one shown last summer). A little later, the manufacturer completely declassified the appearance, and it turned out that the model had to wait for restyling, and not a generation change (it even retained the previous in-plant index — CC6470).

Now the company has published official images of the interior of the updated Haval H6. Judging by them, the model will receive a different three-spoke steering wheel, as well as a new front panel, which houses the old virtual instrument screen and a new enlarged touchscreen of the infotainment system. Its diagonal has not yet been revealed (the pre-reform version had 12.3 inches).

The central tunnel of the refreshed Haval H6 is designed differently. The gear selector has disappeared, there are a pair of cup holders and a niche for wireless charging of smartphones, as well as a compartment for storing small items. The salon received different finishing materials. The interior was also updated with new door cards.

It is expected that the length of the new crossover has become 50 mm longer, other parameters are the same. So, the “third” standard H6 has a length of 4653 mm, width — 1886 mm, height — 1730 mm, distance between the axles — 2738 mm. As we reported earlier, the restyled Haval H6 has changed the design of the front part: it received a different shaped radiator grille with a pattern of glossy plates, as well as modified head optics with vertical “fangs” of running lights. The stern has been refreshed due to differently designed reflectors and divided lights, between which there is an inscription with the name of the brand.

The base for the restyled Haval H6 is still the 1.5-liter turbo-four. Judging by information from the Chinese media, its output has been reduced to 177 hp. (pre-reform version – 184 hp). The power of the “older” 2.0-liter turbo engine, on the contrary, increased to 231 hp. (the current version has 211 hp). It is expected that they will be paired with the same seven-speed robot with two clutches. Details about the restyled hybrid version will appear later.
