Former candidate for deputy of the Tver Duma from the SR Evgeny Nikolsky, who killed his wife, is in the hospital with a severe traumatic brain injury in an unconscious state. State Duma deputy and chairman of the regional branch of the party Alexei Chepa spoke about this.

According to him, Nikolsky, according to preliminary data, stabbed his wife to death out of jealousy. After that, the woman's brother hit him on the head.

«This morning he left Tver for Staritsa, his wife was there. And for reasons still unclear, perhaps it was jealousy. He is unconscious, in intensive care with a cranial brain injury,» Chepa said, as quoted by Gazeta.Ru.

According to him, Nikolsky and his wife have a daughter.

Chepa also stated that Nikolsky was “normal and balanced”, it is unclear what “could have crossed his mind”, his colleagues did not notice anything reprehensible about him.

Another interlocutor of the publication anonymously said that Nikolsky’s wife was very kind and modest. The friend of the murdered woman said that she did not believe that Nikolskaya could betray her husband.
