MOSCOW, April 19 The honorary award of the Moscow International Film Festival (MIFF) named after Konstantin Stanislavsky «I Believe» was presented by the President of the MIFF, People's Artist of the RSFSR Nikita Mikhalkov to People's Artist of Russia Evgeny Mironov “For conquering the heights of acting and loyalty to the principles of the Stanislavsky school,” the correspondent reports.
The Moscow International Film Festival opens in the Russian capital for the 46th time on April 19 and will last until April 26.

The honorary prize “I Believe” has been traditionally awarded since 1999. The world famous French actor Alain Delon was the first to receive it.
MIFF is one of the oldest festivals in the world, it was first held in 1935, the chairman of the jury was director Sergei Eisenstein. Since 1959, the festival began to be held regularly. Over the past 20 years, the festival jury has been headed by the world's largest filmmakers, including Richard Gere, Theo Angelopoulos, Alan Parker, Luc Besson, Hector Babenco, Kim Kiduk.
