ULAN-UDE, April 25 The police detained a repeatedly convicted man who fired a traumatic weapon on the street in Ulan-Ude, reports the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Buryatia.
A video shot on a dash cam near a nightclub has circulated on social networks, showing several men running away at the sound of gunfire, one of them falling on the asphalt. The incident occurred on the morning of April 21 near house number 9 on Sakhyanova Street in Ulan-Ude.
“»The participants in the conflict have been identified, and a 40-year-old local resident with multiple previous convictions has also been detained. During the incident, the young man was wounded by a traumatic weapon,» the report says.
The motives and circumstances of the crime are being established. A criminal case has been initiated under Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Hooliganism). The suspect was chosen as a measure of detention.
