MOSCOW, April 26. Actress Maria Mashkova, the daughter of the artistic director of the Tabakov Theater Vladimir Mashkov, who left for the USA, said in an interview with the liberal TV channel «Dozhd»** that her relationship with her father was completely destroyed.
«Apparently, this period has passed. I For almost 40 years I initiated meetings and really wanted him (Vladimir Mashkov — Ed.) to be in my life, but now he’s not,” said Mashkova.
At the same time, the actress added that her father will forever remain for her “a young, mustachioed, cool guy.”
Maria Mashkova is known for her role in the TV series “Don’t Be Born Beautiful.” Together with her husband and two children, she has been living in the United States for several years; last year she received citizenship of this country.
