TYUMEN, April 29< /strong> The water level in the Ishim River in the village of Abatskoye, Tyumen Region, reached 1215 centimeters at 12.00 (10.00 Moscow time), no increase was recorded over the last two hours, the regional government information center reported on the Telegram channel.
According to hydrological bulletins, at 12.00 (10.00 Moscow time) on April 29, the water level in the Ishim River in the village of Abatskoye was 1215 centimeters. It was previously reported that at 8.00 (6.00 Moscow time) Monday, the water level in the river reached 1214 centimeters, having added 6 centimeters over the past 24 hours; by 10.00 (8.00 Moscow time) it had risen another 1 centimeter. The critical level of the dangerous phenomenon for this locality is 960 centimeters.
In the village of Abatskoye on Saturday, due to the threat of flooding and flooding of streets, an emergency evacuation was announced. In the worst-case flood scenario, 22 settlements, home to more than 2.5 thousand people, could fall into the flood zone in the Abatsky district; in the regional center, up to 500 houses, home to about 1.5 thousand people, are under threat. In total, the population in the region is 19 thousand people, in the village of Abatskoye – about 8 thousand.
A state of emergency due to flooding in the Tyumen region was introduced on April 8. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, due to the flood of the Ishim and Tobol rivers, 188 residential buildings, 523 country houses, 2,879 household plots, and 22 sections of roads were flooded in 30 settlements in the region. Earlier it was reported that more than 5.7 thousand people were evacuated, 607 of them are in temporary accommodation centers, including 217 children.
