A schoolboy said he was bullied because of his dream of “serving in the army like dad”

In Lipetsk, a woman accused teachers and children of bullying her son because of his desire to become a military man

A resident of Lipetsk demanded the attention of law enforcement agencies because of the bullying her child was allegedly subjected to at school.

The woman recorded a video message to the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, in which, together with her 11-year-old son, she accused his classmates of bullying. In the video, the boy told many scary stories: “They pulled a net over my face, trying to strangle me,” “He claimed that I was his slave, he was my master,” “That Ukraine would fall apart because of me.”

“All this happened after September 1, when they asked who wanted to become who, I answered that I wanted to become an officer like my dad,” says the boy.

His mother distributed the video through a local activist. At the same time, in the comments on his page, some users expressed doubts about the veracity of this story. People paid attention to the fact that the child pronounces what they think is a memorized text, “runs” his eyes and does not look “downtrodden.” In other comments, users expressed their surprise at the fact that the mother claims that she complained to the school management, the police, the ombudsman, and other supervisory agencies, but for some reason no one confirmed any offenses. At the moment, only the author of numerous complaints to law enforcement agencies, Ekaterina Mizulina, has become involved in the situation. Also, the ICR, in response to a request from Lenta.ru, stated that Bastrykin ordered an inspection.

Meanwhile, the Lipetsk Department of Education presented its version of what happened. The head of the department, Svetlana Bedrova, told Podem that in response to complaints from the mother of a fifth-grader, a counter-statement was sent to the prosecutor's office with a request to protect the honor and dignity of the teachers whom the woman accused. According to the official, the parents of the remaining students signed an appeal asking them to protect teachers from “attacks from mom and the class itself from such untruthful attacks.”

“Mom is distorting absolutely all the facts,” said Bedrova.

According to her, this is not the first time this woman has tried to complain. Bedrova reported that several years ago, when the boy was still in elementary school, “there were exactly the same complaints about that class and the class teacher,” so before the 5th grade the child was even transferred, but “history repeated itself” in a new class with a new teacher.

“Perhaps this is my mother’s perception of life,” the official added.

It is reported that a parents’ meeting will be held at the school on May 2, “because the situation is unhealthy.” If the mother of the complaining fifth-grader wishes, her son can be transferred again to another class: “Although, this is already the second class that she is changing.”
