The Russian Academy of Sciences does not allow leaks in international cooperation, the head said

MOSCOW, April 24 The Russian Academy of Sciences actively cooperates with foreign academies, but with such cooperation it does not allow leakage of important scientific information, the head of the Russian Academy of Sciences Gennady said on Wednesday Krasnikov.
«We are very much on guard regarding the leakage of our scientific information, and it is legally defined today… Of course, this aspect is based on a mutually beneficial one. We cannot talk about any leakage today. Because if we put this aside question, then (this) is already a matter for law enforcement agencies,” Krasnikov said at a meeting of the Federation Council.
He added that Russian scientists maintain and develop contacts with almost all world academies. Krasnikov emphasized that just as there are many foreigners among the members of the RAS, many Russian scientists are members of foreign academies.

Among the issues that RAS scientists are solving together with foreign colleagues, he named the ecology of the Caspian Sea, on the shores of which there are several countries, as well as work with Russian climate stations in Vietnam and Ethiopia. In addition, a joint space program with China is being developed, said the head of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
