Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov said , that on the afternoon of Saturday, June 1, an air defense system was activated over Belgorod and the Belgorod region.
“Several air targets were shot down on approach to the city,” Gladkov said.
According to him , in the area of the Central Market, on the territory of the Berega beach and in the village of Tavrovo in the suburbs, “shards fell.” According to preliminary data, there were no casualties.
Two Tochka-U missiles and seven drones were shot down over the Belgorod region in the first half of the day, according to messages on the Telegram channel of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
