Uniting hundreds of young martial artists at their sites in the Northern capital, they carry out an important, responsible mission — they serve to promote the values of judo and physical culture. And of course, for many boys and girls, the tournament has become the first step to victories in big-time sports,” the appeal says.
The President also noted the contribution of the competition organizers to preserving the memory of the coach, teacher and mentor Anatoly Rakhlin. He emphasized that with their support, at the end of May, a memorial plaque was unveiled on the building on Kondratievsky Prospect, in which Anatoly Rakhlin worked for many years.
Putin expressed confidence that the competition will be held at a high organizational level and that the participants will remember the intensity of the fair and beautiful fight.
