PETERSBURG – June 7, .The priority areas of work of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation are now the development of the military-industrial complex, machine tool manufacturing, robotics, microelectronics, as well as the expansion of the aviation fleet and, in general, strengthening the technological independence of the country, the head of the ministry Anton Alikhanov said in an interview at SPIEF-24.
«This is the development of the military-industrial complex, the defense capability of our country. Fulfillment of the state defense order, the development of civilian sectors, which are also associated with dual use. The restoration of our aviation fleet,» he said, answering a question about the priority vectors of work of the ministry.
«Issues of key technological industries, such as robotics, machine tool building, which Mikhail Vladimirovich Mishustin pays great attention to. And of course, microelectronics. A lot will need to be done here,» Alikhanov continued, listing the priorities.
«I repeat once again, the technological keys to real, genuine technological independence — and therefore to future leadership — must be in our country. Therefore, we are now very actively working on formulating national projects for technological leadership. And the government will literally begin a whole series of strategic sessions next week, in which we will participate, and we will be responsible for some of these projects as the lead ministry,» the minister added.
