MOSCOW, June 9 Forest fire services extinguished 41 natural fires throughout Russia over an area of 21,293 hectares within 24 hours, Avialesookhrana reports on its Telegram channel.
«According to information from regional forestry dispatch services, over the past day, June 8, 2024, in 15 regions of Russia, forest fire services and involved persons eliminated 41 forest fires on an area covered by fire, 21,293 hectares,» the message says.
By midnight on June 9, there were 76 forest fires on the territory of the Russian Federation covering an area of 102,122 hectares, which were actively extinguished.
