According to Baza, on the night of June 9, in one of the courtyards on Sirenevy Boulevard, Shcheltsin and a friend were walking to a store and noticed a man and a girl who seemed drunk and were behaving noisily. It is reported that the couple was looking for something on the playground, the friends decided that they were looking for drugs or, on the contrary, making a «stash». The men made a remark to the suspicious citizens, a quarrel began, during which the opponent took out a knife.

Baza writes that Shcheltsin’s friend Ivan was stabbed nine times, after which the girl said: “Go ahead, kill this one too.” The IT expert “tried to defend himself with a stick,” but was stabbed three times, the channel reports.

"Ivan died on the spot. Arseny was taken to the hospital, the publication says. “The attacker was detained a few hours later.”

It is alleged that the detainee was 47-year-old Roman Medvedkin. Baza writes that this is the leader of the group «Paseka» and that he has already been interrogated, a court hearing is scheduled for tomorrow on the basis of suppression. The band's manager, Pavel Zhilov, told Kommersant that the musician was indeed detained and that the reason «was a fight in the Izmailovo area, during which one of the victims died.»

The press service of the capital's head office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said&nbsp RIA Novosti that police officers “detained a 47-year-old man suspected of murder and attempted murder.”
