The scientific and technological pharmaceutical company Polisan will create new production buildings and expand the warehouse infrastructure on the territory of the Sofiysky industrial park in St. Petersburg. It is planned to produce both medicines from the company’s current portfolio, as well as new original and generic ones. Gazprombank intends to provide financial support to the project, the total investment in which will amount to at least 3.5 billion rubles. Also, within the framework of the document, the parties will focus on partnership in the field of comprehensive banking services for the company.
The cooperation agreement during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2024 was signed by the Bank’s Executive Vice President Natalya Lyakhovich and General director of the company Dmitry Borisov.
“When carrying out investment activities, Gazprombank pays special attention to the development of the pharmaceutical industry, including the implementation of popular innovative projects that ensure the production of both active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished dosage forms . In light of the focus on projects of technological sovereignty of the Russian Federation, large-scale initiatives designed to support the entire industry are important to us. We welcome the development of cooperation with the Polisan Group, one of the largest participants in the country’s pharmaceutical market. The signed agreement is intended to strengthen joint cooperation in a number of important areas and will contribute to the implementation of projects that are significant for domestic pharmaceutical production,” said Natalya Lyakhovich, Executive Vice President of Gazprombank.
