VLADIVOSTOK, June 13 Police detained two men in Vladivostok who are suspected of stealing 30.5 million rubles from a credit institution’s vault, reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Primorsky Territory.
It is noted that at night the private security company’s control panel received a signal that an alarm had been triggered in one of the non-bank credit institutions. Officers who arrived at the scene found no external damage or signs of penetration. However, later the police received a message that 30.5 million rubles had been stolen from the credit institution’s vault.

“As a result of a complex of operational and search activities, police officers detained two residents of Vladivostok, 45 and 48 years old. At the police department, they confessed, saying that they had planned the crime several months ago. Hiding their faces under masks, they entered the storage facility using duplicate keys and, having committed the theft, disappeared,” says a statement from the Primorsky police.

A criminal case has been initiated into the theft under Part 4 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft committed by an organized group on an especially large scale ). The suspects were taken into custody.
