The DPR sentenced an Azov militant* to 27 years for shooting civilians

MOSCOW, June 21 The Supreme Court of the DPR sentenced militant of the Azov regiment* Alexei Korol, accused of shooting two civilians of Mariupol, to 27 years in prison, reported in regional prosecutor's office.
«The Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic passed a verdict in a criminal case against the 42-year-old machine gunner of the fire support platoon of the separate special forces unit «Azov»* of the National Guard of Ukraine Alexey Korol… Taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, the court sentenced the Korol to 27 years in prison freedom while serving the sentence in a maximum security correctional colony,” the prosecutor’s office said.
The court found that on March 14, 2022, in Mariupol, the King, following the order of the commander, shot a car moving towards Olimpiyskaya Street with a machine gun, two men in it died on the spot.

The militant was found guilty under paragraph. «a», «g», «l» part 2 tbsp. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder of two or more persons committed by an organized group, motivated by political, ideological hatred), Part 1 of Art. 356 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (cruel treatment of civilians in occupied territory).
