Federal developer DOGMA has developed a strategy for the transition to information modeling (BIM) in the company for the next three years. The company has formed a “road map” for the implementation of information technologies at all stages of the life cycle of buildings — from design to operation of residential buildings and social facilities.
Today, the focus of the team of BIM specialists is aimed at launching BIM design of multi-apartment residential buildings. One of the main tasks for the coming year is the standardization of BIM design at all stages of the life cycle of a developer’s facility, which will provide an integrated approach to monitoring the quality of construction. Also among the tasks are the development of templates and libraries, the formation of a knowledge base for specialists and the automation of routine processes. This approach will increase the speed and quality of work performed.
The company has already approved internal standards for the stages of design and working documentation, and has also developed templates for BIM programs. As part of standardization, a classifier of works and materials is being formed, which will allow the cost of a project to be assessed with the necessary accuracy at all stages of building design.
Information modeling will help minimize errors at the design stage of residential complexes and make calculations more accurate the cost of materials and construction and installation work, and will also reduce employee labor costs. The company plans to further apply the information model in the design and construction of not only residential buildings, but also social infrastructure: schools, kindergartens and medical institutions.
In addition, DOGMA is developing a database for employees of the company BIM knowledge, as well as training programs. This will allow specialists to comfortably enter the working mode, improve their profile qualifications, and perform work in accordance with DOGMA BIM design standards.
