MOSCOW, June 21. The KT-1200 underwater camera, involved in filming the bottom of the Mariana Trench, is being adapted to work in Arctic conditions, a representative of the developer company — the Energia plant of the Ruselectronics holding (part of the State Corporation Rostec).
The exhibition takes place at the convention and exhibition center on the territory of the “Island of Forts” cluster from June 19 to June 23. In total, 225 industrial enterprises are participating in Fleet 2024. is the official information partner of the salon.
«The camera's special feature is its ability to operate at hydrostatic pressures of up to 120 megapascals, i.e. at depths of up to 12 kilometers, which was successfully demonstrated as part of the Vityaz-D unmanned autonomous vehicle, which took photos and videos of the bottom of the Mariana Trench. Today, we are working on adapting the KT-1200 for operation in Arctic zones,» said a representative of the Energia plant.
According to him, prototypes have already been created, which will be presented for testing at the end of this year.
