MOSCOW, June 24 The production of “The General and His Family” by the Vakhtangov Theater was recognized as the best dramatic performance of the small form of the “Golden Mask”, the correspondent reports.

The award ceremony takes place on Monday on the historical stage of the Evgeni Vakhtangov State Academic Theater in Moscow.

«Golden Mask» is a professional award that was established in 1993 by the Union of Theater Workers of the Russian Federation. The festival is held annually in Moscow and presents the best performances of the season in all types of theatrical art (drama, opera, ballet, modern dance, operetta/musical, puppet theater).
