MOSCOW, June 27 American actor Bill Cobbs, known for his work in such films as “The Bodyguard,” “The Sopranos” and “Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb,” died at the age of 91 in California, this follows from a message from his family posted on the social network Facebook*.
«We are saddened to announce the passing of Bill Cobbs. On Tuesday, June 25th, Bill passed away peacefully at his home in California. A beloved life partner, big brother, uncle, foster parent, godfather and friend, Bill recently celebrated his 90th birthday surrounded by loved ones,” the message says.
Cobbs made his film debut in 1974 in the action film The Taking of the Pelham 1-2-3 Train and starred in more than 70 films, including They Switched Places (1983), The Cotton Club (1984) ), «The Bodyguard» (1992), «Night at the Museum» (2006) and «Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb» (2014), as well as such television series as «The Sopranos» and «Star Trek: Enterprise».
