SARATOV, June 29 Investigators have begun an investigation into the mass appeal of children in the Penza children's camp for medical help, including a legal assessment of compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements when organizing catering, the regional department of the RF IC reported on the Telegram channel.

They are receiving the necessary assistance. In connection with this fact… a procedural investigation has been organized. Currently, the Investigative Committee investigator is conducting a complex verification activities aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident, including an assessment of compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements when organizing catering,» the message says.
Earlier, the regional prosecutor's office reported that more than 30 children in the Belka children's health center “On Thursday-Friday they asked for help from doctors, and a prosecutor’s investigation was launched, including the organization of food in the camp. The department noted that previously “numerous violations of sanitary and epidemiological legislation” were identified in the camp, but after the intervention of the prosecutor’s office, a new catering organizer began work at the institution on June 23, with the start of the second camp shift. According to the regional Ministry of Health, the children’s condition is stable and does not cause concern. Governor Oleg Melnichenko took control of the situation. According to him, four children remain in the camp’s isolation ward.
