Ramzan Kadyrov warned the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, after his words about the ban on the niqab. The head of the Chechen Republic said that one must be “extremely careful in statements.”
In his opinion, the chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation should not “not compare Islam with terror.”
“Said many times and I emphasize once again that Muslims have not committed and are not committing terrorist acts. At the same time, I really hope that Alexander Bastrykin will no longer compare Islam with terrorism,” Kadyrov said.
Also, the head of Chechnya warned about the possible consequences for the socio-political situation in the country if such statements continue.< /p>
We recall that earlier the head of the Investigative Committee, speaking at the International Youth Forum in St. Petersburg, called for a ban on niqabs in Russia, noting that this is the task of the State Duma.
Earlier, the head of Dagestan made the same proposal Sergey Melikov. According to him, niqabs are not characteristic of the Caucasian peoples and they need to be banned due to security issues.
