The current second generation Chery Tiggo 7 SUV with the Pro prefix appeared in Russia in 2020. And at the very beginning of 2023, we launched a modernized crossover with a double “surname” Pro Max, which subsequently supplanted the Tiggo 7 Pro. And now the model has been improved again. The presentation of the updated Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max took place the day before, June 29, on Palace Square in St. Petersburg, at the same time the specifications and prices were announced and sales started.

Externally, the restyled crossover repeated the rechargeable hybrid version, which launched in the Russian Federation last fall. If we compare it with our previous Max, the front bumper (it now has beveled stripes) and the radiator grille are different. The inscription Chery appeared on the plate connecting the rear lights. In addition, new 19-inch wheels are provided.
The interior of the Russian updated Tiggo 7 Pro Max is a fusion of style solutions from the current global model and the Tiggo 7 Plus presented in China (the interior of our hybrid is designed differently). The crossover retained the scoreboard, that is, a combined virtual instrument panel and multimedia system screen (each display is 12.3 inches diagonal). But the body is new, curved. There is no longer a separate climate control unit, instead there is a row of touch buttons under the central vents. The central tunnel was redone, Max also received a new gearbox selector. Finally, dark brown “leather” is available.
The restyled Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max is presented with the same 1.6 petrol turbo-four (150 hp, 275 hp), which operates in paired with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches. The engine can be “powered” by AI-92. Front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

The trim levels have been renamed: the model is offered in Active, Prime and Ultra versions (the pre-reform SUV has Elite, Prestige and Ultimate). The base includes LED optics (including dynamic turn indicators), a full “winter” package, the aforementioned display, remote engine start and interior heating functions, dual-zone climate control, a rear view camera, four airbags, rear parking sensors, and cruise control. The Prime version includes all-round cameras, an electric tailgate, front parking sensors, six airbags, wireless charging for a smartphone, and electrically adjustable front seats. The arsenal of the top-end Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max Ultra includes: a panoramic roof, ventilated front seats, an electrochromic interior mirror, adaptive cruise, auto-braking systems, lane keeping, blind spot monitoring, rear collision warning and rear cross-traffic warning.
Prices for the updated Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max are currently listed taking into account promotions: Active – from 2,670,000 rubles, Active 4WD – from 2,790,000 rubles; Prime – from 2,850,000 rubles, Prime 4WD – from 2,970,000 rubles; Ultra – from 3,000,000 rubles, Ultra 4WD – from 3,120,000 rubles.
