Moscow has become the leader among Russian regions in terms of production growth

MOSCOW, July 9, Moscow ranks first among Russian regions in terms of stable growth of the manufacturing industry, compared to the same month of the previous year, for over four years, said Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport Maxim Liksutov.
The growth in the volume of production in the manufacturing industry amounted to almost 20% in the first five months of this year.

According to him, according to the instructions of the capital mayor Sergei Sobyanin's Moscow is creating a favorable investment climate for industrial development in Moscow.
“Thus, for four and a half years, Moscow has been leading in stable growth of the industrial production index (compared to the corresponding month of the previous year) in general and in manufacturing industries in particular, with average monthly values ​​of 117.9% and 122.7%, respectively.” ,” the press service of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy (DIPP) quotes Liksutov as saying.
Last year, more industrial facilities were put into operation in the capital than in the five previous years. This figure exceeded 415 thousand square meters, and from 2018 to 2022, the figure was about 396 thousand square meters. Last year, the first building of the innovative electronics center was put into operation at the MIET site in Zelenograd. A complex for the production of electronic boards was commissioned at the Alabushevo site.

The first stage of construction of a drug plant for the pharmaceutical company R-Opra was also completed, and a production complex with a design bureau was opened in the Rudnevo industrial park. At the moment, the complex has launched production of medical devices, ATMs, drones, capacitors and other high-tech products.
High production growth occurred thanks to the comprehensive support of Moscow. In turn, anti-crisis tools help solve various problems. For example, provision of land for construction at a preferential rate, and assistance in improving the skills of industrial workers in innovative technologies.
«Moscow pays special attention to the development of production support institutions. Last year alone, more than eight hundred enterprises took advantage of the support, were able to modernize their equipment, expand their export activities and implement new high-tech solutions. Last year was a record year for the provision of preferential loans: the city approved targeted loans to enterprises for more than 1.2 billion rubles,» the DIPP quotes Moscow Government Minister and head of the department Anatoly Garbuzov as saying.
He also noted that the capital's Industry and Entrepreneurship Support Fund issues preferential loans to manufacturers in various industries, including essential goods and high-tech products.
