At the next meeting of the relevant government commission DOM.RF, agency powers were transferred in relation to unused federal facilities and land plots with a total area of about 186 hectares in 26 regions of Russia. It is planned to transfer unused land and facilities to investors for housing construction in the Altai Territory, Astrakhan and Volgograd regions, as well as in Moscow — in total more than 163 hectares with urban planning potential of about 836 thousand sq. m of housing. In addition, in the Chelyabinsk region, 33.4 hectares will be put up for auction for the construction of 355.2 thousand square meters. m of housing and related infrastructure as part of the integrated territory development project (CTD). The remaining lots are intended for other construction.
“Involvement of unused federal property into circulation with subsequent transfer to investors through auction allows DOM.RF to actively participate in the development of the construction industry and housing sector, and to carry out tasks to increase the rate of housing commissioning in the country. The state-owned company’s specialists carry out a full range of measures for the urban planning preparation of lots, including their legal support and interaction with authorities and developers, which makes it possible to reduce the time frame for launching projects and save money at the start,” said Managing Director of DOM.RF Anatoly Azizov.
Also, by decision of the government commission of the Tyumen region, powers were transferred to manage a site with an area of 239 hectares for the construction of a dam on the banks of the Tura River and other structures designed to prevent flooding of territories, which will allow the construction of housing here in the future, provided with the necessary infrastructure. The Nizhny Novgorod region will receive 32 hectares at its disposal for the implementation of the KRT project.
