Nissan has updated the Note Aura Nismo: all-wheel drive and aluminum wheels

The “sporty” hatchback of the Japanese brand has received an upgraded hybrid installation. All-wheel drive is offered as an option.

The standard five-door Nissan Note was restyled in December last year, and at the end of May 2024, the refreshed “off-road” version of the Note Autech Crossover debuted. The updated hatchback with the “surname” Aura (this is the so-called “premium” version) was declassified in the middle of last month. Now it’s the turn of the sporty version of the model to be refreshed with another addition to the name: we are talking about the Nissan Note Aura Nismo.

The updated “sporty” hatchback has a radiator grille with a pattern of voluminous horizontal “strokes” developed by the Nismo division: according to Nissan, it provides more efficient cooling and reduces air resistance, that is, improves the aerodynamic characteristics of the car. The palette of the refreshed five-door includes seven options, including a two-tone body color based on the signature Nismo Stealth Grey.

< p>This Note Aura was also equipped with a different rear bumper. On the sides in the lower part (made of black glossy plastic) there are air ducts; it was also equipped with another diffuser, which helps direct air flows from under the floor and helps reduce wind resistance.

In the cabin of the starting Nissan Note Aura Nismo there is a “regular” driver’s seat with electrical adjustments, and an optional Recaro sports seat with Nismo settings and developed lateral support is available. In addition, for an additional fee, customers will be offered a premium Bose Personal Plus speaker system.

One of the main innovations of the updated five-door is the presence of an all-wheel drive version (the regular Note Aura had 4WD before the recent restyling). The Nismo e-Power version is equipped with a sequential-type hybrid installation; it includes an 82-horsepower 1.2-liter gasoline engine (maximum torque — 103 Nm), from which a lithium-ion battery is charged through a generator, powering a 136-horsepower electric motor ( 300 Nm). For the all-wheel drive version, the system includes another 82-horsepower electric motor (150 Nm), located on the rear axle; By the way, a regular hatchback has 68 hp. and 100 Nm.

The list of features of the Nissan Note Aura Nismo 4WD includes 17-inch Enkei aluminum alloy wheels. The company explained that they are not inferior in strength to those used for front-wheel drive modifications, but at the same time their weight is 12% less, which has a positive effect on dynamic performance.

Prices of the updated “sporty” hatchbacks are already known. In the home market, Japan, for the front-wheel drive version they ask for at least 3,072,300 yen (equivalent to approximately 1.7 million rubles at the current exchange rate), and for the all-wheel drive version you will have to pay at least 3,473,800 yen (about 1.9 million rubles ).
