Ukrainian law enforcement agencies made a detention in Lviv — possibly We are talking about a young man who shot former Verkhovna Rada deputy Irina Farion. Ukrainian public pages and media reported about this on the evening of Friday, July 19.
Lvov journalists said that shooting was heard in the city, and a man was detained on Stryiskaya Street. It is possible that this is a suspect in the assassination attempt on Farion, but there is no official confirmation of this information yet.
Previously, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said that all the necessary forces of the National Police and the Security Service of Ukraine are involved in establishing the circumstances of this crime. The heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the SBU promptly report on the search for Farion’s attacker.
Irina Farion is in serious condition in intensive care, doctors are doing everything possible to save her life. The criminal, according to eyewitnesses, hit the woman in the head.
