In our market, a large four-door is now offered exclusively with a 150-horsepower version of the 1.6 turbo engine. There are three configurations available to choose from, with a reduced list of equipment.
The Chery Arrizo 8 sedan, 4757 mm long, arrived in Russia last summer. Previously, the model was sold in rich versions of Prestige, Ultimate and Ultimate SE. There was one engine for all – a 1.6 TGDI petrol turbo-four with a power of 186 hp. (275 Nm) in combination with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches. And in the spring of this year, the Arrizo 8 in the Russian Federation had a new “simple” version of Comfort: this sedan received a 150-horsepower version of the 1.6 TGDI (torque has not changed), in addition, the model’s list of equipment was trimmed. So today the Russian office of Chery again announced a revision of the G8 range.

So, the 2024 Arrizo 8 is now only available with a 150 hp turbo engine. As before, the engine can be “powered” by AI-92, it is still combined with 7DCT. The sedan with the younger engine will reach the first “hundred” in 9.8 seconds, the maximum speed is 190 km/h. The figures for a four-door with a 186-horsepower engine are 8.9 seconds and 205 km/h.
< p>The Prestige, Ultimate and Ultimate SE versions have been retired — at least for now. Along with them, the sedan lost seat ventilation, a panoramic sunroof and driver assistants (adaptive cruise, auto-braking systems, lane keeping, etc.). Now the price list of Chery Arrizo 8 of the new model year includes Active, Comfort and Prime trim levels.
< p>All versions have LED optics, a heated windshield and windshield washer nozzles, a leather interior, a heated steering wheel and all seats, a keyless entry system and an engine start button, dual-zone climate control, a standard recorder, ESC, front and side airbags. Chery Arrizo 8 Active also has 17-inch wheels, combined instrument and multimedia screens with a diagonal of 10.25 inches each, a rear view camera, and mechanical adjustment of the driver and passenger seats (in 6 and 4 directions, respectively). The Comfort version adds electric folding mirrors and 12.3-inch displays. Finally, the Arrizo 8 Prime has 18-inch wheels, curtain airbags, power front seats and a surround-view camera.
For a 2024 sedan in the Active version they are asking 2,850,000 rubles (hereinafter – excluding shares). It is curious that the same price is indicated for the Comfort package. The top-end Arrizo 8 Prime costs 3,050,000 rubles. At the same time, according to the brand’s website, dealers still have cars from the previous model year – with a 186-horsepower engine. But they are more expensive.
