Sales of the Belgee X70 crossover have started on the Russian market

The model of the Belarusian brand is a Geely Atlas SUV of the previous generation with the addition of Pro, which was given different logos and nameplates.

The Belarusian automobile plant Belgee (located in Zhodino) founded its own brand in 2023 — Belgee. The role of her first-born was played by the compact SUV X50, which is the result of badge engineering of the pre-reform “Chinese” Geely Coolray (produced at the same enterprise in Belarus). The “new” SUV entered the Russian market last year. In 2024, the line of a very young brand was replenished with the addition of a second model – Belgee X70.

The older brother, the «X-seventieth», is the previous generation Geely Atlas with the addition of Pro to the name, which received other emblems and nameplates. At the end of May, this car appeared on the Belarusian car market, and now it has reached the Russian Federation: the local representative office announced the official start of sales of the mid-size crossover Belgee X70 at the brand's dealers.

The new model has the same technology as its «celestial» twin. The crossover is equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo three, its output in front-wheel drive versions is 150 hp, in all-wheel drive versions — 177 hp, and in the latter it works in tandem with a 48-volt starter-generator as part of a mild hybrid installation. In the first case, the Belgee X70 is equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission, in the second — a seven-speed robot with two wet clutches.

On the Russian market, the Belgee X70 is offered in four versions — Active, Style, Prestige and Prestige+. The list of basic equipment includes: 17-inch wheels, heated washer nozzles and windshield in the windshield wiper rest zone, light sensor, cruise control, heated all seats and steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, 7-inch virtual instrument panel, information -entertainment system with a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a rear view camera.

The next version assumes the presence of a set of 18-inch wheels, all-LED optics, a rain sensor, and all-round cameras. The “prestigious” Belgee X70 also has auto-braking systems, automatic headlight switching and traffic sign recognition, as well as an electric tailgate and adaptive cruise control. The top variant has the advantage of a panoramic sunroof and a shark fin antenna.

Formerly Kolesa .ru published the Russian price list of the new Belarusian brand. The starting recommended retail price of the Belgee X70 is 2,599,990 rubles. Purchasing the most affordable all-wheel drive will cost 2,894,990 rubles, and the cost of the top version is at least 3,199,990 rubles (all listed price tags are indicated without taking into account current promotions and offers).

Remember, back in In January it became known that Belgee was going to expand its line. It is known that one of the “new products” that are planned to be produced under Gili’s license will be a model that will be assigned the S50 index. It is expected that it will be the Geely Emgrand badge-engineering sedan, the production of which is established at the Belarusian plant.
