ST. PETERSBURG, Jul. 28Singer Fantine (Fantine Maria Pritula) and her group received the award of the 1st International Jazz Festival in St. Petersburg in the nomination «Headliners», reports a correspondent.
The final fifth day of the jazz festival took place in the Yusupov Garden of the northern capital. 
«»It was completely unexpected. It is always nice to receive awards, especially when you don’t expect them. This is a great honor for me. I really hope that I did everything possible to deserve it. I will continue to same spirit,» the singer said in a conversation with .
According to the artist, the festival was quite successful. «I wish the festival many, many years of existence, so that we, the artists, bring jazz, music and such a chic atmosphere to St. Petersburg. I think this is what society, our capitals, our cities need,» she added.
Fantine and her band are planning an autumn tour, as well as many concerts in different cities of Russia. «In addition to this, I also have an original program with more modern compositions. The release of a single is planned for August 2 — the song «Summer Veranda», which will be available at all venues,» the singer shared.
The 1st International St. Petersburg Jazz Festival is supported by the St. Petersburg Committee for Culture and the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.
