«A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder),» the Investigative Department said in a statement.
According to preliminary data from the Investigative Committee, a conflict occurred between two gypsies in a car of the Novosibirsk-Glavny — Bolotnoye electric train due to personal hostility, during which one of them stabbed the other at least once, causing a stab wound.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin ordered that a case be opened on the incident and a report on the established circumstances.
