Earlier, in the public group «Typichnoye Bolotnoye» on the social network «VKontakte», eyewitnesses reported that on the evening of July 25, about 30 drunken gypsies boarded an electric train at the Chakhlovo station, and after a while, one of them began to stab another randomly with a knife. According to an eyewitness, panic began, and other passengers, who feared for their lives, had to hold the doors between the cars. 
«A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder),» the Investigative Department said in a statement.
According to preliminary data from the Investigative Committee, a conflict occurred between two gypsies in a car of the Novosibirsk-Glavny — Bolotnoye electric train due to personal hostility, during which one of them stabbed the other at least once, causing a stab wound.
«The man has been detained… He has been charged with committing a crime. The issue of choosing a preventive measure is being decided,» the department reported.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin ordered that a case be opened on the incident and a report on the established circumstances.
