MOSCOW, July 29 The relocators who justify what happened at the opening ceremony of the Games in Paris are afraid to call a spade a spade, said Deputy Speaker of the Russian State Duma Pyotr Tolstoy in his Telegram channel.
The opening ceremony of the Games in Paris took place on Friday, July 26. Many social media users expressed outrage at the parody of the «Last Supper» they saw there, featuring transvestites and representatives of the LGBT* community. On Sunday, the Paris Organizing Committee's communications director Anne Descamps apologized to those whose feelings might have been hurt by certain scenes from the Olympic opening ceremony, in particular the parody of The Last Supper.
«And all those relocators who today justify this abomination and write about «carnival aesthetics» or «rethinking Scripture and Christ» are pathetic two-faced idiots who are afraid to call a spade a spade,» Tolstoy wrote on his Telegram channel.
He noted that «lone directors with specific views» are not responsible for a show of the level of the Olympic opening.
«In Paris, there was a manifesto of the forces that took the stage — now it will be only this way and no other way. For believing Western Christians, the time has come to choose: to submit, fight, or emigrate,» the deputy added.
According to him, Russia has escaped from this «burning house» and can afford to watch from the sidelines as the Christian Western world disintegrates.
«A parade of perverts in the center of Paris can under no circumstances be the norm in France, and certainly not in Russia,» Tolstoy concluded.
