VLADIVOSTOK, August 2 A Vladivostok resident who forcibly took away a boy who had an argument with his daughter in his car has been arrested for one month and 30 days, the Primorye prosecutor's office reports.
«A man born in 1983, a resident of the regional capital, suspected of illegally depriving a minor of his liberty, taking into account the position of the prosecutor, was remanded in custody for 1 month and 30 days,» the prosecutor's office said in a statement.
Earlier, the Primorye prosecutor's office reported conducting an investigation after a video was distributed on social networks, in which a man in a car grabbed a boy riding a scooter, forcibly put him in the car and disappeared in an unknown direction. The police identified the participants in the conflict, they turned out to be a local resident born in 1983 and a 9-year-old boy. According to the man, he took the child away, wanting to teach him a lesson after a conflict with his 8-year-old daughter. A criminal case was opened on the illegal deprivation of liberty of a minor, the man was detained.
