Small and medium-sized businesses increased the number of SBP transactions by 50%

The number of transactions through the fast payment system (FPS) carried out by small and medium-sized businesses increased by 50% in the first half of 2024 compared to the second half of last year. In the six months of 2024, almost 58 thousand such payments were made. Turnover is also growing: in six months it increased by 45% compared to the second half of 2023. Anna Kornelyuk, head of the Small and Medium Business division of DOM.RF Bank, spoke about this. The most active users of SBP are restaurants, food delivery companies, cosmetics retailers and gas stations. The leaders in the number of payments through SBP among the regions were Nizhny Novgorod, Voronezh and Moscow.

“The significant increase in purchases through SBP is associated with an increase in the number of retail outlets that accept payments using the fast payment system, participation in the cashback loyalty program and a low commission for transfers via SBP, which is almost two times less than for acquiring. The fast payment system allows entrepreneurs to organize a convenient and economical mechanism for settlements with clients,” explained Anna Kornelyuk.
