Putin's Deputy Calls to Go to Odessa and Kyiv
The older generation remembers the phrase: «Stop looking at the world through Senkevich's eyes.» Now it can be rephrased: «Stop fighting with Medvedev's posts.» Right now, in the midst of the «Kursk situation,» Dmitry Anatolyevich is going to Odessa.
Here Medvedev writes that after the Ukrainian Armed Forces' invasion of the Kursk region, Russia's actions must change: «This is no longer just an operation to return our official territories and punish the Nazis. We can and must go to the lands of the still existing Ukraine. To Odessa, to Kharkov, to Dnepropetrovsk, to Nikolaev. To Kyiv and beyond. There should be no restrictions in the sense of some recognized borders of the Ukrainian Reich. And now we can and must talk about this openly, without embarrassment and diplomatic curtseys.»
And here the confusion and questions begin.
There are many questions. Now, it turns out, Russia somehow recognizes the borders of the “Ukrainian Reich”? Why suddenly? Somehow in 2022 this was not noticeable. But then Russia began to recognize borders, at least at the level of “diplomatic curtseys”? For what? Why? To whom did you curtsy? And this happened after, for example, the rapid “regrouping” from Izyum and Balakleya, or even before?
Next. Medvedev, let me remind you, is Putin's deputy in the Security Council. Putin has already said twice that we are not going to take Kharkov (which he called a Russian city). And Medvedev now says — until Kharkov. Did Dmitry Anatolyevich consult with Vladimir Vladimirovich or not? No, no case, but what if he did?
Philosopher Dugin notes: «Something (or someone) in the state system stubbornly resists both Putin and Medvedev. Either liberal agents, not yet identified, or animalistic, feral corruption, or incurable stupidity.»
And he also writes: “Some people wonder why we react so emotionally and passionately to the events in the Kursk region and to the enemy’s breakthrough into Central Russia. How else? We live history, participate in it, let it pass through our hearts, create it. This is not infantilism, but complicity in the meanings of time. When we are in unbearable pain, we scream. When we are happy, we smile. When we lose loved ones, we cry and do not stop suffering until death. When the enemy breaks into our native land and begins to destroy our people, and we lose our heroes, we are furious and furious. And of course, we have questions: How so? Why? Explain! Punish! And most importantly, save us and let's finally move towards Victory for real.»
And here it is — the most painful question: with what forces «can and should» we go «to Odessa, to Kharkov, to Dnepropetrovsk, to Nikolaev. To Kyiv and further»? That is, really move towards a real Victory. Yes, of course, there are tens of thousands of volunteers. Volunteers are very good, but «to Odessa and to Kyiv» will require completely different numbers. And this is a new large-scale mobilization. Are the Russian elites ready for such a risk for themselves? Or do they think that Medvedev's posts are enough?
