Man throws dog from 4th floor in Angarsk, animal dies
A man from Angarsk, Irkutsk region, was accused of throwing his dog from the fourth floor, the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
According to the department, a mongrel dog named Bessie was thrown from the window of an apartment on the fourth floor and,, died from her injuries.
According to the owner, the dog jumped out of the window itself, trying to escape from him. It is known that he took the pet from a shelter about three years ago.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that the owner's testimony contradicts eyewitness accounts, who claim that the dog was thrown out intentionally.
Currently, law enforcement agencies are investigating all the circumstances of the incident.
