MOSCOW, August 13 The regional headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Bryansk region warned residents of the region in a Telegram channel about false calls allegedly from employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations about an upcoming evacuation.
«Dear residents of the Bryansk region! Calls are being received from unknown numbers, during which persons claiming to be employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations notify of an alleged upcoming evacuation. The regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia reports: this information is not true and is fake! Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations do not call citizens,» the department said in a statement.
The Administration calls on residents to trust only the information posted on the official resources of federal and regional authorities.
The day before, the region's governor, Aleksandr Bogomaz, reported to President Vladimir Putin that the situation in the Bryansk region was stable, the same as it was a month ago, the number of shellings was constant, 80-100 per week, but now the Ukrainian Armed Forces have begun shelling civilians more often.
A counter-terrorist operation (CTO) regime is in effect in the Kursk, Belgorod and Bryansk regions to ensure the safety of citizens.
