Yesterday in New York, an informal meeting of the UN Security Council members on the «Arria formula» was held, where the «Crimes of the Kyiv regime and nationalist battalions» were discussed. Acting Permanent Representative of Russia Dmitry Polyansky raised the issue of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' offensive on the Kursk region.

In addition, Polyansky indirectly pointed to Kyiv's Western allies, hinting that the Ukrainian Armed Forces contingent attacking the Kursk region could have acted not only on Zelensky's orders, but also with the support of Western countries. «One can only guess whether this action was coordinated with Western partners or whether it was the result of a spontaneous decision by one person,» the Russian diplomat noted.
Polyansky recalled that the last time German tanks were on Russian soil was 80 years ago, during the Great Patriotic War. Now these tanks are in the hands of Ukrainians. He recalled how this ended for Germany, and warned that the outcome for Ukrainians could be just as sad.
Meanwhile, the situation in the Kursk region itself remains difficult. The enemy continues to actively try to break through into the territory, without reducing the pace of attacks.
