The Investigative Committee has brought charges against the husband of a defendant in a child trafficking case in Moscow

MOSCOW, August 15 The Investigative Committee has charged the husband of mother of many children Natalya Patoka, one of the main defendants in the case, with child trafficking, her lawyer Stanislav Kulov said.
«The Investigative Committee has brought charges under Part 3 of Article 127.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation against Nikolai Patoka, Natalia's husband. He is under a written undertaking,» the agency's source said.

He specified that the man is accused of committing a similar crime, namely under paragraphs «a, b, z» of Part 3 of Article 127.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (human trafficking committed against minors, knowingly in a helpless state for the perpetrator, using forged documents).

The day before, the Preobrazhensky Court of Moscow extended the detention of Yulia Loginova and Patoka until October 16.
Natalya Patoka is one of the defendants in the criminal case of mother of many children Yulia Loginova, the investigation into whom began after information from a medical institution about the discovery of a drug prohibited for his illness in the blood of a boy born in 2015. A criminal case was then opened on intentional harm to health. During the prosecutor's investigation, it was established that the 47-year-old woman (Loginova) was raising 15 minor children.
When the investigation began to figure out which of the children were relatives and which were adopted, it turned out that in 2010 Loginova underwent an operation, after which she could not give birth. At the same time, the woman assured that some of the children born after this operation were also her relatives. The prosecutor's office reported that the woman submitted documents to the registry office containing deliberately false information, and there is reason to believe that illegal actions were committed against minors.
As a result, a criminal case was initiated under points “a, b, h” of Part 3 of Article 127.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (human trafficking committed against minors, knowingly for the perpetrator to be in a helpless state, using forged documents).
