«Called me a swamp creature»: Moscow pensioner beaten by a native of Central Asia

Aggressive woman hit her on the temple

An elderly Muscovite was injured as a result of a conflict with the mother of one of the children playing on a playground in north-east Moscow. The emergency occurred at eight o'clock in the evening on August 14 at a children's playground in the ethnographic village of Bibirevo.

As MK managed to find out, that evening the 67-year-old Moscow resident, as usual, was walking with her eight-year-old grandson. Suddenly, a younger boy began to pester him.

— He started spitting at my son, pulling him by his jacket, calling him obscene names, — said the daughter of the victimized woman. — My mother very tactfully remarked to him that, like, you can’t do that. My son also told this child (he’s only five years old) that it’s not nice to do that. Well, then it all started!

Seeing what was happening, the mother of the harassing child, who had been sitting with her nose buried in her phone, ran up to the elderly woman. She called the pensioner a «swamp creature» and shouted at the boy: «If you don't like it, you could have just spit on me too, you have to be able to stand up for yourself!» Then the aggressive person hit the elderly woman on the head, on the temple, with all her might. The blow was very strong and, according to witnesses, professional.

The elderly woman fell, almost losing consciousness, but managed to call her daughter. She immediately ran to the park, and along the way called an ambulance and the police. The victim was taken to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with a bruise of the soft tissues of the right temporal region, a concussion. Now the woman's condition has improved and she is at home under medical supervision. The culprit of the incident ran away from the playground before the police arrived. But her identity has already been established.

«She has often been seen in this park before,» local residents say. «This woman, a native of Central Asia, always behaves very brazenly and aggressively towards other children and their mothers and grandmothers. This is all outrageous! I would really like her to be punished!»
