The long-promised pickup truck JAC T8 Pro has finally reached the Russian market

The model of the Chinese brand will be offered in Russia with two turbo engines to choose from, both are paired only with a manual transmission.

JAC announced the release of the T8 Pro truck to the Russian car market back in 2020: it was assumed that the model would go on sale in the fall of 2021. However, the model had to be delayed: only now the Chinese brand has officially announced that very soon the promised pickup truck will appear at Russian dealers. Pricing will be announced later.

The JAC T8 Pro frame pickup truck has a full-fledged two-row cab, a spacious cargo platform, a body kit made of unpainted plastic around the perimeter of the body, a massive black radiator grille with large horizontal elements, as well as the brand name written in capital letters. There are integrated fog lights at the bottom of the front bumper, running boards, traditional exterior mirrors and conventional silver door handles can be seen on the sides of the car.

The overall length of the T8 Pro is 5325 mm, the width is 1880 mm, the height is 1830 mm, and the distance between the axles is 3090 mm. The dimensions of the cargo platform are 1520 x 1520 x 470 mm, the load capacity is 900 kg. The ground clearance of this pickup is 220 mm, the angle of entry is 30.9 degrees, the exit angle is 23.3 degrees. In the cabin, you can see leather upholstery, a seven-inch digital instrument panel, air conditioning, front seats with manual adjustments and heating, rear armrest with cup holders, heated rear window, MP5 multimedia system with a 10.4-inch touchscreen and six speakers; there are keyless entry and engine start functions with a button, as well as automatic folding side mirrors. it will start live sales of JAC T8 Pro in the Russian Federation, the company has not yet specified. It can be assumed that the novelty will be more expensive than the T6 pickup, which is already on the Russian market. According to the official website of the brand, its price tag starts at 2.52 million rubles. For buyers of the T8 Pro, you will probably have to compete with the Great Wall Poer KingKong, its initial cost is 2.799 million rubles.
