Nottingham Forest is in talks with Manchester United over a deal for Dean Henderson and is also considering signing Wolverhampton goalkeeper José Sa.
Forest want to sign two new goalkeepers this summer and the player England's Henderson remains their No. » at the age of 14, but now ready for new challenges after not appearing in the first team since February 2022.
Talks between United and Forest have been complicated by uncertainty over the future of David De Gea, who announced his decision to leave earlier this week, but talks continue.
Henderson managed six clean sheets at 18 Premier League matches. before suffering a hip injury in January and is now thought to be on his way back.
He will continue his rehab at United's training ground when the team fly to Oslo for the friendly against Leeds which will take place on Wednesday.
Forest are planning to add a second goaltender for the upcoming season and Wolves SA has been discussed as a potential option as Henderson may not be ready for the start of the season.

Forest and Wolves held preliminary talks for a 30-year-old man who was worth around £6 million in July 2021.
Forest have stepped up their search for goaltenders as Wayne Hennessy and Ethan Horvath are currently injured, leaving Steve Cooper with the inexperienced George Shelvey between the posts.
Hennessy is expected to miss the start of the season after suffering an injury knee while playing for Wales last month.
To add to Forest's temporary goalkeeping problems, Horvath is also recovering from an injury sustained in the Championship play-off final with Luton Town, where he spent last season on loan . However, Horvat should be ready for next week's training camp in Spain.
Forest is also working on possible transfers with Jonjo Shelvey, Remo Freuler, Emmanuel Dennis, Sam Surridge and Steve Cook available for transfer.< /p>

Surridge is interested in Major League clubs, while midfielders Cheikh Kouyaté and Dennis have options in Saudi Arabia.
