The Wolves are offering more than £20m for Bristol City midfielder Alex Scott as Julen Lopetegui does everything he can to secure the highly rated England under-20 international.
Scott It's a top target for Lopetegui this summer and Wolves are poised to make a second improved offer that comes closer to the club's strict £25million valuation. this month, but a new offer is just around the corner for one of English football's brightest young talents, who has been named the Championship's Young Player of the Season.
Wolves head coach Lopetegui fully supports Scott and believes that a teenager could have a significant impact on the Premier League.
Scott had previously been on Wolves' radar prior to Lopetegui's appointment in November, but the Basque manager was known to be very impressed with his potential after taking a closer look.
However, Wolves face some serious competition, as Bournemouth already received the rejected bid last week.
West Ham are also monitoring Scott's situation while other clubs may be involved as well, but the prospect of playing regularly for the first team in the top flight could be a major factor in a move to Wolves.
