Zaha is expected to earn around £200,000 a week at current market value. Three weeks left before the start of the Premier League.
The Ivory Coast striker became a free agent as his contract expired last month and has received an offer from Saudi professional league teams including Al Ettifak under new manager Steven Gerrard. Italian club Lazio have also shown interest in the 30-year-old, who has spent all but one season of his career at Palace.
But there is a quiet certainty that Zaha could have stayed at Palace, where he was a key player under Roy Hodgson. As a free agent, he is expected to earn around £200,000 a week at current market prices.
Zaha has been an important figure in keeping Palace in the Premier League for the nine seasons since he returned. He had a bad spell at Manchester United in 2013/14 when he was loaned out to Cardiff City in the second half of the campaign.
Palace signed Jefferson Lerma on a free transfer this summer after his Bournemouth contract expired, but Zach's stay could be their biggest signing of the summer since Hodgson agreed to stay, returning to the club after retirement to save them from relegation.
Last season, Zaha ha scored seven goals, and he has 90 in total, falling into the spotlight of the century. Al-Nasr, Cristiano Ronaldo's side, were also interested in him as a free agent when his term expired. He missed the end of last season with a hamstring injury and the issue should be assessed at any club he joins before it can be determined whether he will miss the start of the season. But as a free agent, he could be signed outside the transfer window.
