Legal action against Grammy-winning body positivity rapper also claims that she observed a hostile work environment.
But on Thursday, the 35-year-old, whose real name is Melissa Vivian Jefferson, took to Instagram to respond to what she called «sensational stories.»
«The last few days have been excruciatingly difficult. and very disappointing. My work ethic, morality and respect were called into question,” she wrote.

The singer is accused of forcing one man to touch another woman's breasts and then firing the same performer after criticizing her weight.
Three former dancers, namely Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noel Rodriguez are seeking unspecified damages.
The dancers' lawsuit names Ms. Jefferson, her production company Big Grrrl Big Touring, Inc. and Shirlene Quigley, captain of the performer's dance team. It was filed Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
«I'm not here to be seen as a victim, but I also know that I'm not the villain that people make me out to be and MASS MEDIA. to be in these last few days,” she said.
“I know what it’s like to be ashamed of my body on a daily basis, and I will absolutely never criticize or fire an employee because of their weight.”< /p>
