The SUV retained the LFS (Lightweight Frame Structure) platform, an aluminum body and the main rear-wheel drive. At the same time, Chery eQ7 flaunts new head optics and bumpers, the lights have also been retouched, plus the models got other wheels (18- or 19-inch). Compared to the eQ5, the length has increased by 45 mm to 4675 mm, the height has increased by 5 mm to 1660 mm. The width and wheelbase are the same — 1910 and 2830 mm, respectively. In general, outwardly, the electric cross is now similar to the “traditional” Jetour Dashing available in Russia (the Jetour brand belongs to Chery), while the Chery eQ5 resembled Lynk & Co (owned by Geely Holding).
