It will not be easy to distinguish a restyled SUV from its predecessor without special features. The interior was pulled up to the rest of the latest models of the brand.
In the Honda range today, there are already two “full-fledged” coupe-shaped crossovers, however, both are designed exclusively for China: these are the Avancier and UR-V siblings. Since 2016, the first SUV has been produced by the GAC Honda JV, the second since 2017 has been produced by the Dongfeng Honda JV. Three years ago, both SUVs were slightly updated, and at the beginning of June of this year, sales of the once again modernized Honda UR-V coupe started in China. Now Avancier has also received another batch of new clothes.

Externally, the base crossover from GAC Honda has changed little: the decorative plate on the radiator grille has been redone, plus the brand emblem located in front has become larger. Well, other disks also appeared (but they are still 19-inch). The dimensions are the same: length — 4858 mm, width — 1942 mm, height — 1670, distance between the axles — 2820 mm. With the Black Edition, as you might guess, the «coupe» has a black decor. And the package, whose name can be translated from Chinese as “a monument to ten thousand” (whatever that means), is already more impressive bumpers and a large-checked grille.

The main new thing in the cabin is a 10.1-inch multimedia system tablet, which now sticks out of the front panel, like the rest of the latest Honda models (including the restyled UR-V). The central air deflectors are located under the screen, and not on the sides of it. But Avancier did not get the virtual tidy. “In the base” there are LED optics, a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, heated front seats, adaptive cruise control and a marking tracking system. Expensive versions still have seat ventilation and all-round cameras.

As in the case of the restyled Honda UR-V, the 1.5 and 2.0 petrol turbo fours are slightly strangled: the base turbo engine produces 188 hp. instead of 193 hp, the second — 261 hp instead of 272 hp But the torque has not changed — 243 and 370 Nm, respectively. The 1.5T engine is still paired with a CVT, the two-liter turbo engine is still combined with a nine-speed automatic. All-wheel drive is only available for cars with 2.0T.

The price of the refreshed Honda Avancier ranges from $33,300 to $45,800, while the upgraded Honda The base UR-V starts at $34,300.
