Revolution Roadster is the fourth model in the Venom F5 line from the Hennessey Special Vehicles division of the American tuning studio Hennessey Performance. The Revolution Roadster is primarily track oriented, but can also be driven on public roads.
The Venom F5 mid-engined supercar is currently the pinnacle of Hennessey Special Vehicles engineering, although the division has more impressive projects in the plans. The serial version of the Venom F5 debuted in 2020 (the prototype was shown back in 2017), Venom is translated from English as “poison”, and the F5 index refers to the Fujita scale, which assesses the degree of danger of a tornado: the F5 level is considered catastrophic, the wind speed at it reaches 419–512 km/h. The declared maximum speed of the Venom F5 is 534 km/h, but in practice it was never achieved, which, however, does not prevent the supercar from being in excellent demand among car collectors.

In August 2022, the Venom F5 got a version of the Roadster with a removable carbon-fiber roof, in January 2023, a lightweight track version of the coupe with the prefix Revolution was introduced, and now the range has naturally been replenished with an open version of the Revolution Roadster. The engine for all versions is the same — a 6.6-liter Hennessey V8 Fury (Fury) with two turbochargers and a maximum output of 1842 hp. and 1617 Nm, but the Revolution versions have special calibrations focused on driving on the race track. The transmission is a 7-speed single-clutch «robot», with all power sent to the rear wheels.

The adjustable double wishbone suspension and aerodynamic plumage of the Venom F5 Revolution Roadster are also optimized for driving on the race track: a more developed splitter and side canards appeared on the front body, a manually adjustable fixed wing on the stern, and a transparent engine cover (made of tempered glass) comes out an additional central air intake. The removable carbon-fiber roof of the roadster weighs only 8 kg, you need to remove/install it manually, in the dismantled state you will have to store the roof in the garage — there is no place for it in the car.
1/3 2/3 3/3 < p> The most noticeable difference between the Venom F5 Revolution Roadster and a similar coupe is, oddly enough, not a removable roof, but the absence of paint: the entire outer plumage is made of lacquered carbon fiber so that you can enjoy the skillful hand-weaving of fibers — only the contours are underlined by thin yellow stripes . The cabin is also decorated mostly with “bare” carbon fiber, and advanced telemetry capabilities have been added to the on-board computer menu, similar to those of racing cars. but the price is known — from 3 million dollars, only 12 copies will be made, all of them have already been sold.
