The presentation of the novelty of the Korean brand took place today, August 10, as part of the auto show that opened in Jakarta (Indonesia).
< p>Hyundai introduced its inexpensive Stargazer compact MPV in October last year. Its closest “technical” relative is the Creta SUV, but in appearance it went to the “big brother”, we are talking about a full-fledged Hyundai Staria minivan. The main market for Stargazer is the countries of Southeast Asia, here the compact van has to fight for buyers with the Mitsubishi Xpander, which has a cross version. Now the Hyundai model family has been replenished with a new “all-terrain” version: such a car received an increase in the form of the letter “X” to the name.
The Korean manufacturer published a video teaser and thus officially announced the new version of Stargazer just a few days ago, although the prototype of the novelty had already been seen by photo spies (even without disguise). Now the company has declassified the Hyundai Stargazer X completely: the presentation took place in Jakarta, as part of the Indonesian Motor Show that started today. >Pictured: Hyundai Stargazer X
Visually, the version with the increase can be distinguished by the roof rails, stampings on the hood, another grille with a pattern that includes large chrome horizontal strokes, as well as a plastic body kit that goes along the perimeter of the body.

Crossvan has become slightly larger compared to the standard version, obviously due to the additional body kit. So, its overall length is 4495 mm (35 mm more), width — 1815 mm (also 35 mm more), height — 1710 mm (15 mm more); the wheelbase, of course, remained the same (2780 mm). they increased the clearance, however, by only a modest 5 mm: for the Hyundai Stargazer X it is 200 mm, and for the “ordinary” compact van it is 195 mm. The novelty is based on new 17-inch alloy wheels. In addition, the «raised» version has a couple of unique body colors — white (Optic White Matte) and golden (Gravity Gold Matte).
Salon Hyundai Stargazer X is designed for either six or seven riders. In the first case, the second-row passengers have access to the so-called «captain's chairs» with armrests, adjustable in various directions; in addition, they are offered a table. The seats are upholstered in dark eco-leather with contrasting red stitching. The model was equipped with Hyundai Bluelink technology, which allows you to control some of the car's functions remotely (via a smartphone).

(torque — 144 Nm). It only works in conjunction with a continuously variable IVT automatic, although a six-speed manual transmission is offered as an alternative for the standard version. The Stargazer X has four driving modes to choose from — Eco, Normal, Smart and Sport. The drive for such a cross can only be front.

The new version is already available from Hyundai dealers in Indonesia. The car is offered in two trim levels — Style and Prime. For the starting version of Stargazer X, they ask for at least 325,600,000 local rupees (equivalent to about 2.09 million rubles at the current exchange rate), and for the top version you will have to pay 336,200,000 rupees (about 2.16 million rubles).
